Privacy policy

1 General

The protection of your personal data is important to us. In this privacy policy we inform you which personal data we process when you visit our website and when you contact us, for what purpose, and what rights you have. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person.

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where applicable in individual cases, we also observe the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2 Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is SpaCulture GmbH, Fährhüttenstrasse 4, CH-9477 Trübbach. For questions about data protection you can reach us at kundendienst@spaculture.swiss or +41 81 740 22 44.

3 Hosting and server log files

Our website is operated by Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, on servers in Switzerland. When the website is accessed, the server automatically records technical information transmitted by your browser, in particular IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type, operating system and the previously visited page (referrer).

We need this data to operate the website securely and stably and to detect misuse. It is not merged with other data and is deleted after a short time. A data processing agreement exists with Infomaniak.

4 Contact form and e-mail

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide – first and last name, e-mail address, and voluntarily telephone number, company, details of your request and your message – in order to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to handle a quotation or an order.

The form data is sent to us by e-mail and is not stored in a database on the website. You automatically receive an acknowledgement of receipt at the e-mail address you provided. To protect against spam, we store for a maximum of one day an encrypted, untraceable checksum of your IP address in order to limit the number of requests per hour.

The legal basis is the processing of your enquiry or the initiation of a contract, as well as your consent, which you give when submitting the form and can withdraw at any time.

5 Fault report via QR code

For fault reports we link to the maintenance management system QRmaint. If you submit a report there, your details are processed by the provider of this system on our behalf so that we can rectify and document the fault. The provider's privacy notices also apply.

6 Cookies

Our website does not use cookies for advertising or analytics purposes. Technically necessary cookies may be used insofar as they are required for the operation of individual functions. You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

7 Fonts

For a consistent appearance, we embed fonts from the Google Fonts service of Google Ireland Limited. When the page is accessed, your browser loads the fonts from Google servers; in the process, your IP address is transmitted to Google. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy.

8 Links to maps and social media

On our website we link to Google Maps (route planning) and to our profiles on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. These are simple links – no plugins are embedded and no data is transmitted to these providers as long as you do not click the links. After the click, the privacy provisions of the respective provider apply.

9 Disclosure abroad

Your data is generally processed in Switzerland. When using Google Fonts and after clicking external links, data may be transmitted to countries outside Switzerland, including the USA. In these cases we rely, where necessary, on recognised safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses or the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

10 Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as statutory retention obligations (e.g. up to ten years for business records) require. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.

11 Your rights

Within the framework of applicable data protection law, you have the right of access to your personal data processed by us, to rectification of inaccurate data, to erasure or restriction of processing, to the release or transfer of your data, as well as the right to withdraw a consent given at any time and to object to processing.

To do so, please contact kundendienst@spaculture.swiss. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

12 Changes

We may amend this privacy policy at any time, for example when we introduce new functions on the website. The version published on this page at the time applies.
